About the Role

This position is a key contributor to our organizational success, playing a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and administering the Project Management Office (PMO) and SharePoint environment.

The ideal candidate will ensure seamless collaboration, document management, workflow automation, and compliance with digital and governance standards across the organization.

  • Develop and manage the SharePoint architecture aligned with the PMO Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), guaranteeing secure, scalable collaboration and integration with Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Establish effective governance frameworks, including access controls, compliance with Information Risk Management System (IRMS), and probity workflows for onboarding and offboarding.
  • Provide expert user support and training by creating comprehensive onboarding materials, maintaining the Program Delivery Management System (PDMS) interface, and ensuring accessibility of PMO guidance documents.
  • Lead data management initiatives, including migration from legacy systems, enabling reporting for schedule, cost, and risk, and supporting continuous improvement across PMO workstreams.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and digital maturity goals.
Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in SharePoint Online architecture, administration, and governance, with strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools including Power Automate, Power BI, and Teams.
  • Experience managing permissions, security classifications, and compliance workflows; familiarity with Queensland Government information security and probity requirements.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly training and guidance materials for diverse audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure or capital delivery programs, ideally within public sector or large enterprise environments.
  • Relevant certifications or experience in Microsoft 365 technologies, enterprise document management systems (e.g. Content Manager), and working knowledge of project management.
