Job Description

As a Fixed Plant Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the Mechanical Maintenance division by providing leadership to a high-performing operational team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency are of the highest standard.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the supply of fixed plant maintenance personnel for rostered maintenance teams within the Mechanical area.
  • Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction is maintained through effective relationship management.
  • Develop business development strategies, plans, and opportunities in target markets.
  • Manage internal operational staff, motivating and retaining them to achieve organizational goals.
  • Attend face-to-face meetings, video conferences, and events with clients to promote products and services.
  • Promote a proactive and safety-focused culture within the organization.
  • Identify and map business strengths and customer needs to drive growth and revenue.
  • Manage budgets, profit-and-loss statements, and performance metrics to ensure profitability and sustainability.
  • Draft and review supplier agreements to maintain positive relationships with vendors.
  • Report on successes and areas needing improvement to stakeholders.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while enhancing the brand.
  • Conduct on-site visits with customers and employees to foster strong relationships.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A strong background in a similar role within Fixed Plant Maintenance or infrastructure maintenance companies.
  • Understanding of the mining sector with well-established existing relationships.
  • Mechanical trade background.
  • Outstanding customer relations and people management skills.
  • Enthusiasm to win new business, build relationships, and execute plans.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • High-level communication and negotiating skills.
  • Experience in budgeting and invoicing management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office literacy.
