About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Media Manager to join our Consumer PR and Influence team at Ogilvy Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery and evolution of social media and influencer strategy for top clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute end-to-end social media strategies, including social listening, content planning, and scheduling.
  • Lead the creation of reactive and planned content, including on-page publishing and reporting.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team, including social content creators and community managers, to deliver high-quality work on time.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, culture-first creativity, and platform developments.
  • Build and nurture a passionate and engaged community of brand advocates.
Requirements
  • Expert knowledge of best practice social pages and community management techniques.
  • Deep understanding of social creativity and what works on different platforms.
  • Agency or in-house background in social media management.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work quickly to capitalize on breaking news, memes, and trends.
