Electrical Engineer Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves designing electrical systems for various industrial and resources projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in high voltage and low voltage protection systems design, termination drawing design, system modelling and performance analysis, and risk assessment.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively with external design partners and internal delivery teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to influence outcomes and resolve technical problems through collaboration and innovation.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing designs for resources and industrial projects, including high voltage and low voltage protection systems, termination drawing design, system modelling and performance analysis, and risk assessment. You will also collaborate with external design partners and internal delivery teams to get projects built.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience with Diploma
  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years' experience in industrial/resources or a similar industry
  • Skill: Strong teamwork, adaptability, and professional integrity

You will also need excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to influence outcomes and resolve technical problems through collaboration and innovation, highly organised, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
