Health and Wellness Specialist

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Casual Health and Wellness Specialist. We are looking for experienced and motivated individuals who have a passion for health and fitness to provide excellent customer service to current and prospective members at our aquatic centre.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing fitness programs and activities, providing professional and accurate information to customers, and ensuring that all facilities and equipment are well-maintained. If you have experience in the health and fitness industry and are driven to exceed members' expectations, then this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all members and visitors
  • Develop and implement new and existing fitness programs
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance of facilities and equipment
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive team culture
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field (minimum Certificate III in Fitness)
  • Registered Fitness Leader (AUSactive, Fitrec, Physical Activity Australia or equivalent)
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Experience working in a leisure environment with a strong focus on customer service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Selection Criteria
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and certifications
