Job Title: Facilities and Grounds Support Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our school community.

About the Role:

  • Providing exceptional support to students, staff, and visitors through daily activities including mail and parcel delivery, message recording, printing, and photocopying.
  • Maintaining general stores including receipting, opening up, checking, storing, and distributing school supplies and stocks; managing various registers; and conducting stocktakes and engraving of school equipment and assets.
  • Assisting with clearing and hosing drains and gutters; collecting waste, food, and paper on school grounds as agreed by relevant staff and the Principal, Business Manager, and/or nominated delegate;
  • Undertaking immediate action cleaning duties outside normal operating hours; coordinating removal and disposal of rubbish as required.
  • Supporting security duties at the school using and maintaining the school security systems; banking of school funds (transport and deposition); and locking/unlocking buildings within core hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Day-to-day activities including delivering and collecting mail, parcels, and documents; recording and delivering messages; printing and photocopying; preparing classrooms for examinations and activity halls;
  2. General store duties including receipting, opening up, checking, storing, and distributing school supplies and stocks; maintaining various registers; and stocktaking and recording/engraving of school equipment/furniture and assets.
  3. Assist with clearing and hosing of drains and gutters; collection of waste, food, and paper on school grounds as agreed by relevant staff and the Principal, Business Manager, and/or nominated delegate;
