Job Description

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical and problem-solving skills to patients with complex care needs. This role involves working autonomously within the healthcare team and contributing to the planning, managing, and delivery of mental health specialist nursing care.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of skill and expertise in the field of mental health nursing. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and develop your skills in assessment, planning, and implementation of individualised care plans.

The successful applicant will have a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Required Skills and Qualifications

Mandatory requirements for this role include:

  • A relevant tertiary degree qualification
  • Appropriate registration/licences
  • C Class Motor Vehicle Licence

Additionally, the successful applicant may be required to provide evidence of vaccination or immunity to certain diseases, and may be subject to a period of probation.


Benefits

This is a permanent full-time position offering a base salary range of $107,960 – $115,604 per annum (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1). The position also includes benefits such as:
