About this Mental Health Role
The Homeless Health Outreach Team provides support to individuals with a mental health diagnosis who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. The service adopts an assertive outreach approach to deliver thorough assessments, coordination, and clinical interventions tailored for individuals facing mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate high levels of clinical critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the provision of best practice care.
- Provide comprehensive assessments, coordination, and clinical interventions tailored to individuals facing mental health challenges.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences are mandatory requirements.
- A Class C Motor Vehicle Licence is required for this role.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This role may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to certain diseases.
