We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our team as a dog groomer.

About the role:

  • Prepare dogs for grooming (bath, blow dry, spa treatments) using tailored techniques for their breed
  • Keep the bathing area and salon neat and tidy including laundering towels
  • Adhere to Worksafe guidelines
  • Adhere to set timeframes for dog preparation

Key responsibilities include:

  • Bathing and drying dogs to a high standard
  • Using appropriate equipment and products to ensure the best possible results
  • Working effectively in a team environment to meet deadlines and achieve quality outcomes
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for both employees and clients

About you:

  • You will be highly motivated and enthusiastic with a strong passion for working with dogs
  • You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with colleagues and clients
  • You will be physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg and handle up to 35kg dogs
  • You will have a can-do attitude, a positive and flexible mindset, and attention to detail
  • You will be willing to learn and develop your skills through ongoing training and development
