Housekeeping Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout our facilities. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
  • Completing cleaning tasks efficiently within the allocated timeframes.
  • Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.
  • Using specialized cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.
  • Building strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to foster a positive, respectful work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, applicants should possess:

  • Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
  • A basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
  • Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
