Product Visioneer

The Product Visioneer is responsible for driving the development of solutions to achieve business goals and deliver a product vision.

  • Collaborate with project leads to upskill operations teams in using products to maintain operations for successful delivery and delighted customer experiences.
  • Support the mapping of requirements to product roadmaps through analysis of effort and priority after project discovery phases along with product owners and project teams.
  • Provide hands-on support to project teams on onboarding new projects with custom features to create familiarity amongst operations analysts and project teams.
  • Generate visibility of product features and new releases to other organisational functions i.e. business development (BD) and operations (Ops) through documentation or other means of communication to create product familiarity.

The Product Visioneer will map out platform features in consultation with key stakeholders and get approval from product owners where necessary.

  • Elicit feedback from users on platforms and synthesise potential platform refinement requirements.
  • Utilise Jira and Confluence to document requirements and context, assisting development teams to understand scope and functionality required.
  • Create accurate technical diagrams and data flows for better understanding of requirements.
  • Support UI/UX designers in creating accurate mock-ups for features to be built.
  • Participate in platform testing and provide feedback to development teams - monitoring product releases.
  • Create user stories along with design/documentation of core business logic and translate them into system requirements for development in accordance with product roadmaps.

The Product Visioneer will be responsible for product documentation and their versionisation such as product design documents, technical requirement specifications (TRS), product standard operating procedures (SOP) etc.

Additionally, the Product Visioneer will provide consultation and support in process development and improvement, proposing automation where required.

They will also provide feedback to product specialists and product owners on market research and formalise further research questions on specific scopes based on product visions.

Furthermore, the Product Visioneer will support product owners in product growth strategies by identifying user personas and critical paths for product market fits.

The Product Visioneer should have qualifications or equivalent relevant experience in STEM or business-related disciplines.

Some understanding of energy markets and infrastructure is required.

Experience in software or IT environments and project management experience is also desirable.
