Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive strategic leadership and representation across Territory Councils and Committees.
  • Promote senior-level engagement and relationship-building with members within the ACT.
  • Develop initiatives to enhance the member experience and drive membership growth in the region.
  • Provide insights and market intelligence to inform strategic goals and drive business outcomes.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of AICD's education products, services, and public policy stance.
  • Sustain momentum through support of national events and drive cultural alignment.
  • Lead staff collaboration and foster a positive employee experience, office safety, security, and culture within their State or Territory.
About You:
  • A seasoned leader with expertise in sales, business development, and stakeholder engagement.
  • A champion of the AICD values: Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Collaboration.
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, or possess relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrate senior sales and commercial acumen, covering business development, pitches, and relationship-building.
  • Exhibit results-driven leadership, navigating change in a matrixed company environment.
  • Excel in verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Display gravitas, self-leadership, and the ability to command a room and motivate teams.
  • Utilize exceptional networking, stakeholder management, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven teamwork, influencing skills, and ability to bring others along.
  • Experience in leading strategy into execution and managing key programs of work.
  • Knowledge of governance and governance principles; Board experience is an asset.
