Maritime Operations Coordinator

The role involves coordinating and managing the performance of a team to ensure efficient operations in a maritime environment. This includes allocating resources, undertaking unplanned repairs, conducting risk and hazard assessments, and managing inventory.
A strong focus is placed on maintaining accurate records, utilizing warehouse management software, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Experience in heavy diesel motors, heavy vehicle transmission, fitting/machining, welding/fabrication, hydraulic controls, and container terminal asset experience are highly regarded.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong desire to grow within the industry. They must hold current licenses for Forklift operation, Elevated Platform work, Maritime and Security Identification card (MSIC), and Heavy Vehicle/Plant Diesel Experience.
