About the Role

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Uniting, where you will be working with our Home Care clients in Broken Hill. As a Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to empower our clients' independence and improve their quality of life.

In this role, you will travel to clients' homes and communities, using your own car, and engage in various activities such as:

  • Assisting with daily living tasks, including housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation
  • Providing personal care, including hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, and assisting with medication administration
  • Accompanying clients on outings and participating in Healthy Living for Seniors activities

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
  • Similar experience providing client-centered care
  • A current First Aid certificate
  • A valid driver's license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
