Role Overview

As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in transforming lives in our community-aged care setting. This part-time position offers a perfect balance between work and personal life, allowing you to manage your schedule flexibly. You will visit clients in their homes, designing and implementing personalized physiotherapy plans that enhance their mobility and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to consult and strategize.
  • Design treatment plans to boost client independence and safety at home and in the community.
  • Educate individuals and families on identified risks and preventive measures according to their needs.
  • Apply evidence-based interventions during comprehensive assessments and recommendations.
Skills and Experience
  • Prior experience in community aged care (HCP, TCP, CHSP) or similar healthcare settings is desirable.
  • Conducted diverse physiotherapy assessments and screenings.
  • Extensive experience in thorough assessments with diverse client groups.
  • Developed personalized treatment plans and clear recommendations.
  • Delivered evidence-based physiotherapy interventions in communities.
  • Familiarity with Consumer Directed Care and relevant programs (CDC/HCP, CHSP, TCP).
  • Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Knowledgeable about the Physiotherapy Code of Ethics.
