Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team in a part-time role. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to transform lives in the community-aged care setting by designing and implementing personalized physiotherapy plans that enhance mobility and quality of life for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to promote client independence and safety in their homes and communities.
- Educate clients and families on identified risks and preventive measures to promote healthy living.
- Apply a client-centered approach to physiotherapy practice, prioritizing client needs and preferences.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications and experience in physiotherapy, preferably in community-aged care or similar healthcare settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse client groups.
- Knowledge of consumer-directed care principles and relevant programs, such as CDC/HCP, CHSP, and TCP.
- Understanding of aged care quality standards and the Physiotherapy Code of Ethics.
