About the Role
This collaborative role provides technical and business solutions along with operational improvements for our mines in Australia and overseas. It involves frequent travel across Australia, Africa, and North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within legislation and regulations governing our operations.
- Maintain decision-making that aligns with our company objectives.
- Ensure conduct consistent with our values, policies, systems, procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Foster a safe working environment with a commitment to zero harm.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement focused on technical effectiveness and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mining engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Underground Supervisors Certificate of Competency or First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency (highly regarded).
- At least 2 years of underground experience required.
- 5 years of experience in mine design, scheduling, and drill and blast operations.
- Technical report writing skills and effective communication.
- Deswik software proficiency (essential).
Salary and Benefits:

Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum
