We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Construction Project Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our data center projects.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with general contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams across multiple data center regions.
- Develop and maintain a tracking system for construction/design changes, requests for information (RFI), work/change orders, build durations, critical priorities, and develop dashboards to track this information for project and regional leadership review.
- Request and review work activity MOPs (Methods of Procedure) for proper detail, necessity, and risk, and develop same with the project team.
- Onboard new project vendors for security badging and onboarding orientation.
- Update project management software with milestone dates, correspondence, and documents.
- Monitor delivery of owner-furnished material to site.
- Compile and store construction data from vendors.
- Manage various project checklists, including substantial completion checks, safety, and quality.
