Grounds and Maintenance Specialist

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and capable Grounds and Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

This role involves administering repairs and maintenance, checking and attending to general repairs, ensuring sites are maintained at a high standard, and completing garden labour tasks such as pruning, weeding, and mowing.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the proper and safe use and storage of all materials, consumables, and gardening equipment.

  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a handyman or in a maintenance position, hold a valid driver's license, and possess great customer service skills teamed with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer all repairs and maintenance to tools, equipment, and machinery.
  • Regularly check and attend to general repairs to accommodation.
  • Ensure the sites are maintained and presented at a high standard at all times.
  • Perform garden labour tasks such as pruning, weeding, hedging, and mowing in a timely manner and of a high quality condition.
  • Ensure the proper and safe use and storage of all materials, consumables, and gardening equipment.
  • Other tasks including emptying rubbish bins, and garden restoration.
