About the Role

Sandstone Point Holiday Resort is seeking a dedicated and experienced Grounds Manager to oversee the care and maintenance of our award-winning resort grounds. Your attention to detail will help us deliver a first-class guest experience, from lush tropical foliage to pristine open spaces.

You will work closely with the leadership team to manage daily operations, contribute to landscaping and improvement projects, and ensure our grounds remain lush, healthy, and beautifully presented throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily operations across all grounds, lawns, gardens, and common areas
  • Schedule and supervise seasonal lawn care, planting, and landscaping tasks
  • Implement preventative maintenance for equipment, irrigation, and grounds machinery
  • Manage a small grounds team with effective rosters and 7-day coverage
  • Drive quality, safety, and continuous improvement in outdoor operations
  • Ensure compliance with all WHS regulations and safe work practices
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team on shared projects and fleet coordination
  • Maintain records and assist in resource planning and budget management
About You

You could be a seasoned groundskeeper or a passionate horticulturist with natural leadership qualities. Most importantly, you love the outdoors, take pride in your work, and thrive in a high-end environment.

We're interested in candidates who have:

  • A genuine passion for gardening, landscaping, and green space presentation
  • Proven experience in a similar role or extensive hands-on garden/lawn care experience
  • Qualifications in horticulture or grounds maintenance (highly regarded)
  • Strong leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of turf/lawn care and garden machinery
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with great attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work on weekends or public holidays if required
