Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter

We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults using advanced diagnostic techniques.
  • Disassemble and assemble complex machinery and components, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing of all equipment, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Complete administrative tasks related to equipment maintenance, including record-keeping and reporting.
  • Participate in regular hazard identification and risk assessment procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a diesel fitter, with a proven track record of success.
  • Relevant licenses and certifications, such as a trade certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • PREFERRED: experience working with CAT, Hitachi, and Komatsu equipment, although not essential.
