The key objective of this role is to promote cultural safety in medical education.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead community engagement and reconciliation activities across the state's network.
  • Develop partnerships with Aboriginal health organisations to support culturally appropriate education initiatives.
  • Implement knowledge-sharing programs, student pathways, and cultural learning initiatives for staff and students.

About You:

  • Applicants must be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person with relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and community engagement skills are essential, along with cultural sensitivity and awareness.
  • Ability to contribute to reconciliation goals and collaborate across education and health sectors is required.

Requirements:
