Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to develop your specialist tax advisory expertise with a diverse range of national clients.

The successful candidate will have experience in employment tax, FBT, payroll tax, superannuation, employee share schemes, remuneration planning and salary sacrifice arrangements.

You will be responsible for consulting and advising on a wide variety of employment tax matters, including audits and cross border issues.

The role also involves preparing FBT returns using specialist software, reviewing and developing FBT policies and procedures for employers, and preparing and reviewing payroll tax returns.

You will work collaboratively with data and technology experts to help design automated tools and coach and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult and advise on employment tax matters, including FBT, payroll tax, superannuation, employee share schemes and remuneration planning.
  • Prepare FBT returns using specialist software.
  • Review and develop FBT policies and procedures for employers.
  • Prepare and review payroll tax returns.
  • Work collaboratively with data and technology experts to design automated tools.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
  • Experience in employment tax, FBT, payroll tax, superannuation, employee share schemes and remuneration planning.
  • Strong research and legal interpretation skills.
  • Proactive approach to client relationships and cross selling of services.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Degree qualification, majoring in Accounting, Tax, Commerce, Economics, Finance or Law.
