Senior Water Resources Engineer Job

We are seeking an experienced Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our diverse and growing team to deliver a variety of projects across Queensland along with supporting our national based team.

About the Role
  • This is a challenging opportunity for you to utilize your expertise in water resources engineering and contribute to our team's success in delivering complex projects.
  • You will be working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists and planners to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems.
Key Responsibilities

  1. Flood modeling of creek and river systems and overland flow paths

  2. Producing clear and concise technical reports

  3. Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders as required

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Environmental Engineering coupled with 5-10 years demonstrated experience in flood modeling.
  • RPEQ (or eligibility) is highly regarded.
  • Working knowledge of current guidelines, including experience working with Australian Rainfall and Runoff.
  • Demonstrated experience using TUFLOW and hydrologic modeling software.
  • Well developed communication skills to collaborate with a range of stakeholders in order to achieve project outcomes.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, including providing support to other teams within the organization.
