About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our Digital Solutions team at Griffith University. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, resilience, and security of our platforms and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and monitor pre-production and production application and integration environments/platforms
  • Collaborate with projects, product teams, and vendors to implement and/or support integrations between on-prem systems or hybrid integrations with third-party solutions
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and patch applications
  • Utilize observability tools to create checks, dashboards, and surface key metrics to support product teams
  • Apply DevOps methodology and tools such as Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, and PHIRE to manage releases on key enterprise platforms, including Azure, PeopleSoft,.NET, and UiPath
  • Automate repeatable processes
  • Support and enhance software delivery processes for projects and product teams

About You

  • You possess a can-do attitude and enjoy working as part of a fun, supportive team
  • You have a desire to work with and learn a broad range of technologies and platforms, with the ability to specialize in a few key areas
  • You are a versatile IT professional with a background as either an Enterprise Applications Engineer, Integration Specialist, DevOps Engineer, or similar
  • You have demonstrated technical competency, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • You are familiar with change management processes
  • You possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders

What We Offer

  • This is a fixed-term position until 31/12/25 based at our Nathan campus
  • As Griffith University is a multi-site university, you may be required to work across other campuses
  • Salary HEW 7, base salary range $96, $104,731.27 per annum + 17% superannuation
  • Total FTE package in the range of $113, $122,535.58
