**Job Opportunity for Show Technicians**

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Show Technicians to join our team on a casual basis. As a key member of our Entertainment department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of audio visual services across Dreamworld and WhiteWater World.

**Key Responsibilities:**

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Industry experience in relevant Show Technician/Audio Visual roles, with a strong understanding of sound technical knowledge, including but not limited to sound desk operation, Artnet DMX control, and lighting programming.
  • Excellent trouble-shooting and diagnostic skills to identify faults with electronic equipment at component level.
  • Familiarity with network/IP programming for Bose, Dante, and Mac computer, as well as network OSC/UDP messaging.
  • The ability to work autonomously, under pressure, and prioritize effectively in an environment with competing demands and multiple objectives.
  • A range of tasks to support external event operations, including bump in/out tasks related to the Dreamworld Night Market.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated commitment to safety and service excellence.
  • A current open driver's license, with elevated work platform/forklift license desirable.

**Working Conditions:**

This role requires flexibility with working hours, including weekend, late night, and public holiday shifts. Good physical dexterity and the ability to perform physically demanding work tasks, including working at heights and with electrical equipment, are essential.
