Job Overview:
A highly skilled individual is required to lead the development and management of operational tools, collaborating with other engineers to build and manage massively scaled services. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of distributed system design and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deploy operational tools to automate processes and reduce operational overhead.
  • Hire, develop, and mentor team members.
  • Work with other engineers to build and manage massively scaled services.
  • Work with other engineers to diagnose and resolve customer issues.
  • Track the health of our services, identify and fix problems on complex systems with massive scale.
  • Collaborate with some of the leading minds in distributed systems.
  • Participating in 24/7 on-call rotation to troubleshoot high severity issues.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
  • 7+ years of engineering experience.
  • 7+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience.
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
  • Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership.
  • Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers.
