About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer Supply Chain Analyst to join our organization. This position combines strategic purchasing with analytical expertise, ensuring optimal material and service procurement, inventory availability, and supply chain efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Negotiate purchases at best prices, highest quality, and delivery possible.
  • Analyze consumption patterns and forecast future demand for raw materials and components.
  • Sourcing primary and secondary vendors for assigned product types.
  • Monitor orders for delivery schedules and advise originating departments of current status.
  • Identify potential stock shortages or excess/obsolete inventory.
  • Maintain vendor performance records and take action to improve it when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum three years of purchasing experience, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Demonstrated mathematical analysis skills, strong communication, and organizational abilities.

Working conditions include:

Normal administrative office environment with occasional travel required.
