Physiotherapy Lecturer in Acute Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Lecturer in Acute Care Physiotherapy.

This role will involve designing and delivering high-quality student learning opportunities, supporting broader program learning and teaching foci, and contributing to cutting-edge physiotherapy research.

The successful candidate will have expertise in Acute Care Physiotherapy and a strong passion for teaching, research, and clinical education.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver high-quality student learning opportunities in Acute Care Physiotherapy
  • Support broader program learning and teaching foci, including simulation, interprofessional education, and cultural safety
  • Contribute to cutting-edge physiotherapy research and ensure that our programs remain at the forefront of evidence-based practice
Requirements
  • A doctoral or masters qualification in Physiotherapy or equivalent accreditation and standing
  • 6+ years of relevant clinical experience and/or significant progress towards completion of a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline or field
  • Eligibility for membership of AHPRA as a physiotherapist
  • Demonstrated experience in acute care physiotherapy

  • A competitive salary range: $113,226 - $134,460 per annum + 17% superannuation
  • A continuing, full-time position primarily based at either the Griffith University Gold Coast or Brisbane South (Nathan) campuses
