Job Description

This Field Service Manager will be responsible for leading, coaching, developing, and training Team Coaches and Roadside Responders to ensure Club Assist continues to provide a quality service to all customers.

  1. Coach and develop Team Coaches and Roadside Responders to improve productivity and meet contractual requirements.
  2. Support the Roadside Operations Manager to contribute to tactical meetings with the Roadside Team, ensuring adequate numbers of Roadside Responders are available.
  3. Promote safety procedures by effectively managing incidents and injuries, and providing out-of-hours support as needed.
  4. Manage employee performance, including performance reviews, recognition, capability building, and succession planning.
  5. Oversee the recruitment and selection of potential Roadside Responders to maintain adequate resourcing, and ensure successful onboarding of new Team Coaches and Roadside Responders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of improving team performance, proven managerial and leadership experience, and excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Requirements
  • A leader who can engage, support, reward, and recognize the right activities to deliver value and support to the Roadside Responders team.
  • A manager who leads by example, treats direct reports with respect and dignity, and promotes equity and fairness.
  • Operational management experience with a strong track record of success in improving team performance.
  • Proven managerial and leadership experience.
  • Strong internal and external customer communication and relationship skills.
  • Ability to lead change and manage initiatives.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite and Business Intelligence Reporting.
  • Customer- and safety-first mindset.
