Job Opportunity:

As a Senior Corporate Lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable future in energy and essential services.

You will provide expert legal advice on a broad range of matters, including energy, competition and consumer law, privacy obligations as well as the negotiation of complex commercial contracts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing legal support for customer-facing matters
  • Drafting and negotiating significant commercial agreements
  • Representing the company in transactional work, regulatory investigations, and other initiatives
  • Developing strategic relationships with stakeholders from within the business

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Laws / Juris Doctor degree and admission to practice in Australia
  • Relevant experience at a reputable firm and/or in-house experience relevant to a senior legal role supporting a customer-facing business in a regulated and competitive sector (minimum 8 years PQE)
  • Ability to drive business change in response to changing regulatory environments
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
