Job Title: Care Companion

Job Description:

As a care companion, you will be responsible for providing personalized support to clients in the comfort of their own homes. Your primary role will be to assist with daily living tasks, maintain a safe and clean environment, and promote independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks according to clients' dietary needs
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry
  • Accompany clients on outings and engage in activities that promote socialization and community integration
  • Administer medications and provide wound care as needed
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
  • National criminal history/police check
  • Industry applicable licenses (e.g., Blue Card & NDIS Card)
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Minimum of 2 COVID vaccinations
  • Open driver's license and reliable transportation
