Procurement Expert Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will oversee the creation and implementation of purchasing commercial pro-forma forms, including legal and commercial terms and conditions.

As a senior procurement professional, you will lead the development of strategic procurement plans, manage negotiations with suppliers, and ensure compliance with purchase order requirements.

  • Develop project master purchases pro-forma forms, including legal and commercial terms and conditions
  • Maintain project bidder's lists, ensuring input from all procurement functions and operational groups
  • Review international project commercial conditions to ensure purchasing pro-forma terms, conditions, and procedures are compatible with applicable directives
  • Form, issue, and administer purchase orders
  • Direct negotiations in the commitment of purchases, following review and approval of the proposed negotiating plan by the designated supervisor

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
  • Extensive experience in project procurement management, including purchasing and expediting
  • Extensive experience in procuring engineered equipment and materials
  • Experience working with national and international suppliers
  • Demonstrated skills in working and communicating effectively with all levels of project functional groups
  • Extensive experience in negotiating terms and conditions
