The primary role of a Midwifery Care Specialist is to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based midwifery services for clients within the scope of practice.
- Provide clinical guidance and supervision for newly qualified midwives and students based on level of experience.
- Deliver high-quality, holistic, evidence-based midwifery care within a caseload model of care.
Ensures continuity of midwifery care throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postnatal period.
A successful candidate is expected to demonstrate commitment to modeling organizational values, safety, and quality improvement, as well as adhering to the Code of Conduct in all aspects of employment.
