Perinatal Care Specialist

The primary focus of this role is to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for clients throughout the continuum of pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postnatal period.
This position involves delivering holistic midwifery care within a caseload model, providing continuity of care and acting as a clinical supervisor for newly qualified midwives and students.
- Main Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to clients, incorporating up-to-date research and best practices.
Act as a clinical mentor, providing guidance and support to newly qualified midwives and students, helping them to develop their skills and confidence in practice.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Essential:
Registered Midwife with current practicing certificate.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Familiarity with caseload models of care.
