Key Cybersecurity Role

Seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Senior Security Specialist.

This individual will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data. They will partner with various teams to develop and implement effective security strategies, leading by example and driving results through threat hunting, automation, and mentorship.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in cybersecurity, fraud prevention, and threat detection, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities.

They will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure architecture, develop and uplift fraud and scams prevention controls, and lead purple team exercises to improve overall security posture.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR suite, a track record of mentoring engineers, and a passion for automation-first security operations.

They will also possess knowledge of NIST frameworks, Essential 8 maturity, and threat assessments, and be able to communicate complex technical information in plain language.

Key Requirements
  • Proven experience in cyber security, fraud and scams prevention.
  • Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR suite.
  • Strong SOC background: incident response, detection engineering, threat hunting.
  • Track record of mentoring engineers and building team-wide technical capability.
  • Passion for automation-first security operations (SOAR, scripted playbooks, automated remediation).
  • Knowledge of NIST frameworks, Essential 8 maturity and threat assessments.
