Leisure Coordinator Position

We're seeking a Leisure Coordinator to join our experienced team that is committed to creating a welcoming environment for residents.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and evaluating suitable activities and programs based on resident assessments. This includes working closely with residents, families and colleagues to understand individualised needs, preferences and choices.

Our care model ensures compassionate, holistic, person-centred care that empowers residents and fosters a sense of belonging, independence, and cultural respect, creating a life filled with purpose and wellbeing.

About the Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment that values relationships over routines.

  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Leisure & Lifestyle or Diversional Therapy is essential.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday as full time is required.
  • Experience in an aged care home, developing leisure programs including working with dementia clients is highly desirable.
  • The ability to design and evaluate suitable health and wellbeing activities and programs based on health assessment is crucial.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are also necessary.
  • An understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities is expected.
