Job Description

The Commission is seeking a compliance professional to join its Regulatory, Monitoring and Evaluation group. As Manager, Compliance Operations, you will provide expertise in compliance functions across the industries regulated by the Commission.

About the Role

This role involves taking an active role in assessing, identifying and coordinating issues related to non-compliance or potential non-compliance from regulated entities. You will develop and implement strategies to facilitate achievement of compliance and lead the Compliance and Investigations team in their duties.

  • Conducting compliance investigations
  • Improving compliance programs
  • Interpreting and applying legislation and regulatory instruments
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Preparing high-quality written documents

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have significant experience in conducting compliance investigations and improving compliance programs. You will also have demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and the ability to prepare high-quality written documents. Leadership experience is required for this role.

A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as law, business, commerce or Government investigations would be highly regarded for this position.
