About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Wagga Wagga NSW area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse caseload of clients with various physical and psychological conditions, providing occupational rehabilitation services to support their return to health and work.
  • Deliver innovative virtual reality pain education programs, such as Re-thinking Recovery, to help clients understand pain and re-train their brain and body.
  • Collaborate with employers, employees, medical professionals, and allied health professionals to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
  • Conduct assessments, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments, to identify clients' needs and develop effective rehabilitation plans.
  • Work closely with Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks and ensure efficient case management.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology with registration with ESSA and SIRA Accreditation.
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy are essential qualities for this role.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance are required.
