We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team at IPAR, a national occupational rehabilitation provider. As an Exercise Physiologist - Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping individuals with injuries or illnesses return to work and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of clients and develop personalized rehabilitation plans to improve return to work outcomes;
- Collaborate with employers, employees, medical professionals, and allied health experts to deliver injury prevention and workplace education programs;
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify clients' needs and develop strategies to address them;
- Deliver our innovative virtual reality pain education program, Re-thinking Recovery, to help clients understand pain and re-train their brain and body;
- Work closely with a strong and supportive team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology and registration with ESSA;
- Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders;
- Compassion, empathy, and kindness, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service;
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- A current NSW Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
