Cyber Security Leader

Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a seasoned Cyber Security Manager to lead our high-performance team with expertise in troubleshooting, technical and communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a cybersecurity team and direct security activities related to the security program, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
  2. Coordinate engagement with internal and external stakeholders to address security requirements and concerns.
  3. IDentify and plan for delivery of cybersecurity packages within agreed timelines.
  4. Develop strategic plans to safeguard assets and data against cyber threats across cloud capability.
  5. Implement compliance frameworks such as ISM, PSPF, DSPF, ASIO T4 and NIST into design and build baselines.
  6. Utilise domain expertise to develop thought leadership material on emerging technologies, contributing to industry discourse and innovation in cybersecurity practices.
  7. Drive results with precision and attention to detail, ensuring timely completion of initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years experience managing a large enterprise security team.
  • 7+ years experience working in areas related to cyber security such as SOC, auditing, security architecture or regulatory affairs.
  • Through understanding of at least two areas - application security, network security, platform security or cross-domain solutions.
  • Proficient with government security frameworks and standards.
