","About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our Cloud Infrastructure Services & Modern Work practice, you will play a critical role in helping clients achieve their business objectives by providing cloud-focused client advisory and delivery services.

","Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement Splunk for log source ingestion, data source ingestion, setting up alerting, and using intermediate forwarders.
  • Ensure effective operation of SIEM content, including filters, rules, expressions, and other identification mechanisms of threat and vulnerability management technologies used within the SOC.
  • Provide professional data analysis within the SOC processes and to SOC customers to drive further security measures and risk mitigation activities.
  • Detailed technical security reporting to Management operating companies and appropriate stakeholders.
  • Work closely with other Information Security teams to ensure effective intrusion detection and incident response.
","Requirements:
  • Deep information security expertise.
  • Excellent knowledge of Splunk and Splunk ESM.
  • Good understanding of data structures, logging types, etc.
  • Knowledge of network concepts, Windows, cloud, and Unix administration.
  • Experience in information security domain > 5 years.
  • Experience in network and/or firewall engineering, system administration, design, and implementation or related field > 2 years.
  • Experience in security analysis and SIEM content development > 4 years.
  • Work experience in a global organization > 3 years.
