Aboriginal Mental Health Support Worker

Deliver high-quality social, emotional, cultural and spiritual care to Aboriginal children, young people and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive support services to clients, including access to local Aboriginal organisations and services.
  • Facilitate connections to mental health and other services, educating clients on treatment benefits.
  • Maintain accurate case notes, documentation and reports in compliance with organisational policies.
Selection Criteria / Qualifications
  • Certificate IV, Diploma or Bachelor in Mental Health or progression to formal qualifications.
  • Aboriginality is a genuine role requirement.
  • Demonstrated experience working with addiction or mental health with young people.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position.
