Mental Health Services Leader

Job Opportunity
- Location: Cairns, Queensland
- Team: Various mental health teams including Staff Specialist Cairns Inpatient, Staff Specialist Cairns Adult Community and Staff Specialist Cairns Remote East
The Locum Consultant Psychiatrist will have the opportunity to join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level clinical care and leadership support to patients and staff
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Lead and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA
- Fellowship with Royal Australia & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism and leadership skills
Travel and Accommodation:
- Travel and accommodation arrangements made by the service for remote positions
- Flexible work arrangements available for some roles
