QCS is hiring a Mental Health Team Leader at Arthur Gorrie Correctional Centre. This leadership role oversees a multi-disciplinary team, providing clinical supervision and operational management. Responsibilities
Demonstrating your advanced clinical skills in the provision of clinical care, and maintaining a client caseload commensurate with responsibilities of the role.
Using frameworks to guide professional judgement, problem solve and manage complex situations.
Coordinating the process of referral, crisis management, assessment, reviews and transition planning within a case management framework.
Chairing and leading multi-disciplinary meetings, for example, those that oversee centre decision-making regarding suicide risk assessment and management, and case management of prisoners with complex needs.
Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop partnerships that contribute to operational and clinical outcomes.
Directing, managing and coaching using contemporary human resource practices, and sharing professional and clinical knowledge to build consistent service delivery capability.
Creating an engaged and high-performing team with a focus on work-life balance and strong team culture.
Using excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster an engaged team and high-quality, person-centred care.
