At Latrobe Community Health Service, we are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Support Workers. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide high-quality domestic support, meal preparation, and unaccompanied shopping support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and live safely in their own homes.

The role involves flexible roster arrangements, and you will be paid for kilometres travelled between shifts. Our large service delivery area means that you will be able to work in the township or LGA where you live, minimizing travel time.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • Ability to travel across the service delivery area
  • Be physically fit to undertake the requirements of the role
  • Current Victorian Driver's licence
  • Ownership of a registered vehicle with minimum third-party insurance
  • Current Smartphone device
  • Ability to retrieve emails on your own computer
  • Latrobe Community Health Service complies with infectious disease control and immunisation requirements under legislation. This position is classified as a Health Care Worker A. Evidence of immunisation history and any mandated government vaccinations e.g. COVID 19 must be provided prior to confirmed appointment unless otherwise medically exempt (evidence of medical exemption must be supplied).
