About the Role

This is a production support role within the ACIC Messaging and Integration Team. The successful candidate will investigate production problems in an environment using IBM Integration components, work with application teams, and maintain and develop monitoring and logging tools to ensure reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide production support for existing service interfaces, integration logic, and XML schema for ACIC application messaging solutions.
  • Collaborate with application development teams to ensure broad solutions that maximize interoperability, reusability, service capacity, and capability to end users.
  • Investigate and resolve complex integration and messaging problems.
  • Develop and maintain performance, monitoring, logging, and testing tools associated with messaging and integration.
  • Build and maintain productive stakeholder relationships, including providing advice and guidance to team members on more complex messaging and integration requirements and solutions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following experience, skills, and attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience with maintaining solutions using IBM Integration Bus/IBM App Connect Enterprise using Java and/or ESQL and SOAP web services.
  • Experience in investigating and resolving integration problems relating to integration flows deployed in IBM ACE and IBM DataPower.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the provision and upgrade of IBM Integration Bus/IBM ACE, IBM MQ, and IBM DataPower deployments.
  • Significant experience working with SSL, general PKI concepts, XML standards, and schemas.
  • Familiarity with REST/JSON API concepts and implementation.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to cultivate productive working relationships, engage with stakeholders across multiple levels, and mentor and develop team members.
Eligibility

Citizenship: To be eligible for employment with the ACIC, applicants must be an Australian citizen.

Security Clearance: The Australian community expects ACIC employees to maintain the highest levels of security and integrity. Successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.
