Job Title

Senior Power System Advisor - Power System Analysis Expertise

The Senior Power System Advisor provides technical leadership and guidance for power system studies, partnering with clients to address challenges and deliver impactful results. They support the expansion of services and market penetration, as well as mentor junior advisors.

Responsibilities
  • Secure a pipeline of work for the region in Power System Studies.
  • Provide technical leadership on projects as required and input on tenders/bids or proactive client proposals.
  • Deliver high-quality power advisory projects requiring detailed power system studies.
  • Contribute to proposal development and opportunity-related pursuits.
  • Support the development of tools and systems to efficiently deliver quality power system planning and analysis advice.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on projects across Business Advisory as required.
  • Build effective relationships within the community of engineers undertaking power system studies.
Requirements
  • Technical discipline degree and/or postgraduate qualification.
  • Proven proficiency in key power system analysis tools including PSSE, PSCAD, and PowerFactory.
  • Detailed understanding of National Electricity Rules and associated guidelines defining model provision and technical performance assessment for NEM connection and registration.
  • Track record of assisting clients navigate NEM connection and registration process.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships.
  • Strong report writing, interviewing, facilitation, and presentation skills.
