Territory Sales Manager

Job DescriptionAs a Territory Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing assigned accounts strategically to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth.
You will research and understand territory growth opportunities to develop an effective business plan and sales strategy, scheduling and carrying out a minimum of 10 sales calls per week.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and deliver solutions to assigned accounts
- Scheduling and conducting sales calls to understand customer needs and execute sales strategies
- Building in-depth knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, and make informed business decisions
- Prospecting new accounts and preparing information for sales calls to secure new customers
- Maintaining regular and informative communications with team members and cross-functional collaboration with Product Managers, Application Scientists, Inside Sales, and Customer Care
Requirements:
- Master's degree or at least Bachelor's degree in a Life Science field
- 2 to 3 years of prior sales experience in life science reagents/consumables, preferably in the genomics industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding ambitious sales targets in a high-pressure environment
- Residing in Melbourne and extensive familiarity with existing academic, corporate, and government accounts in the region, with ability to travel 25-50% of the time within the assigned territory
