Job Description

Crowd Strike is seeking a highly skilled engineer to join their Data Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and automating large-scale cloud-based critical systems, working closely with the engineering and customer support teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience with operating databases in Kubernetes, managing container images, and developing infrastructure services to support a full devops model. Strong configuration management skills, particularly with Chef, are also required.

Experience with large-scale datastores using technologies such as Cassandra, Elastic Search, Kafka, Zookeeper, and MySQL is essential. Additionally, the candidate should have a proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams and possess excellent communication skills.

Requirements
  • Configuration management (Chef)
  • Scripting in Python and bash
  • Experience with large scale datastores using technologies like Cassandra, Elastic Search, Kafka, Zookeeper, and MySQL
  • Experience with large-scale, business-critical Linux environments
  • Operating within the cloud, preferably Amazon Web Services, GCP, and OCI
  • Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams
